Dr. Alex is a Medical and Osteopathic Doctor who believes that the body can heal itself. She is well known Yoga Teacher with many years of experience. She created her own Alex Yoga style based on powerful breathing techniques, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow with integrates awareness, balance, strength and flexibility. Working out the whole body, keeping focus on the breath and setting positive intentions gives powerful healing effect and brings peace and harmony to all.

HELEN HAMILTON KAWAR

Helen is a certified Iyengar and Prenatal Yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience. Her classes are intentionally designed for people of all ages and body types, and focus on strength, alignment, and flexibility in order to boost and maintain total wellness of the body and mind.

Helen has been mentored by a number of senior Iyengar Yoga teachers, including Djoeke van der Werf in Jordan, Gabriella Guibillaro in Italy, and Aisling Quirk and Eileen Cameron in Ireland. She has continued to train under a number of senior teachers from the UK, the USA, (Manouso) and India. She is very fortunate to have spent time in Pune, India training under the guidance of the Iyengar family.

After spending a number of years teaching in Dublin, Ireland, Helen now resides in Amman, Jordan where her yoga practice has brought Iyengar yoga to students from all over the world, including ex-pats from the USA and Europe. Helen is registered through the Iyengar Yoga Association U.K. and is a member of the Dublin Iyengar Yoga Institute.

With a long corporate background, office work and deadline, Rula landed on her mat back in 2006. What attracted Rula to Yoga was the holistic approach of Yoga which looked at art, science and philosophy as a life style and healing tool for everyday life.Rula’s work through Karma yoga or selfless service Yoga took her to work with refugee communities in Amman and the camps, where yoga and mindfulness is used as a psychosocial support for people who have been and live in trauma.Rula completed her first Yoga Teacher Training back in 2010 from Yoga Tree, Toronto, followed by Pre-natal Yoga certificate by Urban Yoga, Vancouver – 2012, Yin Yoga 50Hr certificate with Alena Calinescu- GoodLife Fitness – 2013
Her first trip to India was for I month (July 2016) for a Yoga Teacher Training Course, a scholarship by the Indian Embassy in Amman to SVYASA University, Bangalore,
Moreover, she had to go for more Yoga in India…attended Advanced Yin Yoga Course 50hr from Trimurti Yoga- Goa, India. 2017. Rula is a mother of two boys who inspire her every day to keep practicing on and off her mat.Her motto is “To Inspire & Be Inspired, To Serve & Continue Serving”

I’m a graduate in Physical Education with a unique background in physical rehabilitation and sports injuries. I have long followed my passion and became a certified Pilates instructor. I specialize in Reformer, Tower, MOTR, Cadillac as well as Combo Chair Pilates. My devotion to my clients keeps me motivated and up to date with the latest workouts and programs. This has inspired me to acquire other certificates as well such as Energy Healing, TRX, Light equipment (which include Buso and foam ruler) second certification of Art of Contrology, Cardiolates, and Mat Pilates. My aim is to provide a wholesome approach that keeps my clients fit and motivated.

MOTR, or ‘movement on the roller,’ is a Pilates workout
The MOTR, the single piece of equipment that makes this workout possible, is like a giant foam roller with resistance bands attached to one end. The bands can be adjusted to replicate the resistance of three, six or nine pounds. It was designed to focus on alignment, balance, core control and functional movement patterns.

Zina began her Pilates journey in 2003 in Canada and became certified in 2005. She undertook further training in Germany and Spain. Her desire to learn more lead to the discovery of Classical Pilates in Italy in 2017; where she has been bridging her Pilates Certification from Contemporary to Classical. Zina holds an M. A. in Athletic Therapy from Canada. She has also trained professionally in Dance and Martial Arts. She has a black belt in Shotokan Karate which comes to life in her technique. She is committed to use all that knowledge to help people recover from injury, find better posture or to train athletes to boost their performance. Through her work she hopes to maintain the highest standard of Pilates teaching and to create a spirit of professionalism.

TalinHarbidyan is a professional dancer , instructor and choreographer, she graduated from the Urdang Academy of Performing Arts in London with a major in Dance (contemporary Dance, ballet And Jazz) and musical theatre.
Talin taught dance for children and adults and choreographed dances for different events and shows across the Middle East and performed in different countries across The middle East, Europe and the Unites states .Talin is a dance member of “Sima dance company .”
She currently is the main instructor and representative of “Sima Dance Company ” www.simadancecompany in Jordan which is based in Dubai, teaching Contemporary Dance for children ages 10 and up ,adults , and anyone who has the passion for dance and is willing to learn from scratch. She offers classes for students with different dance back rounds and levels of experience who are up for the challenge.Her contemporary dance class is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet using a unique teaching approach that focuses on providing the student with a personalized learning experience in group classes with the aim to accelerate development.
A short introduction about Sima’s dance history;Sima Dance Company (winners of Arabs’s got talent) was founded in Damascus, Syria in 2003 by AlaaKrimed, a renowned choreographer known for his unique works in the region. After noticing a void in the Arab contemporary dance landscape, he took the first step towards filling that gap, aspiring to expose the Middle Eastern audience to the art of contemporary dance. Today, Sima Dance Company hosts over 40 dancers with an excellent academic background.
Sima’s vision is to increase exposure of the contemporary dance art form across the Middle East.

Dancer, dance competitor, and dance and fitness instructor from Tripoli-Lebanon, was born and raised in Jordan. She has been training in dance for over 15 years, 6 of these years she trained in Lebanon. In 2008 she started her fitness career in Lebanon by joining the Radical Fitness Group Exercise program. She taught Megadanz and Oxigeno programs at various Gyms in Lebanon. In 2010, she moved back to Jordan and continued pursuing her fitness career by taking certifications such as Pilates, Barreconcept, Aquatherapy, Suspension Training, Functional training and finally she earned her Personal Training certification in September 2017. Dalia continues to learn in order to develop her skills in the fitness field to be able to help her clients improve their abilities and performance.

VINYASA FLOW, KIDS YOGA With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Nour views kids yoga as a vaccination for behavioral, physical and mental health. Believing that each kid is a masterpiece, she doesn’t come from a school of right and wrong, do’s and don’ts, instead her goal is to create a safe space for kids to express themselves, tune in with their emotions, build confidence and strength, and nurture their individuality. Nour has completed her kids yoga teacher training back in 2017, and has been a certified “kidding around yoga” instructor since then. In January 2018 she completed her 200-hour teacher training in Bali, and being an enthusiastic knowledge seeker she recently just completed a new course for baby and toddler yoga. She’s currently on a mission to make the world a better place, one kid at a time.
